Do I continue my game on to chapter 2 and hope it works, or do I stay in chapter 1 until this issue gets resolved? If I could get some kind of confirmation that Zoltan won't talk to me about it until act 2, it would put all this confusion to bed. For this reason allowing it to be completed anytime during the course of the game does not create an imbalance.Another idea would be to modify the text or the quest type to indicate to the players that it must be completed in it's repective chapters. It is spawned once Geralt has beaten four novice players.

It should be noted that I am still in act 1, playing around in the outskirts of Vizima. Dice Poker: The Professional is an optional sub-quest of A Game of Dice. Am I just doing something wrong or is my game bugged all to hell?ĮDIT 2: I just found some information on the internet that suggests that this quest may not advance past my current stage until I am in to chapter/act 2. So I got frustrated and loaded an older autosave that was made before I beat Zoltan as my third and final Novice opponent and went and beat Haren first, then went to talk to Zoltan, and he STILL has no new dialogue. So I've actually beaten four novice opponents and Zoltan still has no new dialogue.ĮDIT: I just tried playing Zoltan again. Even if he didn't count, I went and won a game against Haren before I did anything else and nothing happens. No, Zoltan counted, as it updated my quest to the stage where it says "I should look for more challenging opponents".
